How to Fix Problems With the Dell Mobile Connect App
The Dell Mobile Connect app requires a Bluetooth-enabled Android phone to work. After downloading the app, you can pair your phone via Bluetooth to connect to your PC. Once you’ve paired your phone, the Dell Mobile Connect app displays a connection dialog and allows you to scan a QR code.
Does not support texting
If you’re using Android, you might be experiencing a problem with your texting capabilities. You may not have noticed, but there is a way to fix it. To do this, you need to visit the Phone Numbers section of the left-hand navigation menu. You can view phone numbers and choose from various texting options.
Does not mirror your phone’s screen

Another possible reason that screen mirroring won’t work is that your Firewall is blocking AirPlay. To disable this feature, go to System Preferences and select Security & Privacy. Make sure to disable the option titled “Block all incoming connections.” Once that’s done, enable Automatically allow built-in software.
Does not place calls
Dell Mobile Connect is an application that lets you connect your Android mobile phone to your PC. It requires that the phone is linked to the same WiFi network as your PC. But the app lacks the pop-out box that allows you to place or receive calls. Another problem is that it doesn’t support multimedia messaging or texting. The application also requires a Bluetooth connection.
You must pair your phone with your PC to place a call. Then, open the Dell Mobile Connect application on your PC. After pairing, enter a code and press the next button. The app will then start tracking your phone and blocking non-DELL hardware.
The interface of the app is more complex. For example, you can view a thread of previous messages instead of showing you the current status of a conversation. You can also see photos taken on your Android phone.
Does not bring up your phone’s dialer
The problem may be related to the SIM card if you can’t bring up the phone’s dialer. This issue can occur when your phone cannot register your SIM or determine the strength of your signal. If this is the case, you can troubleshoot this issue by performing a SIM card test. To test your SIM card, you must unlock your phone. Then, launch the phone’s dialer and enter the code that appears on the screen.
