Rab’s Borealis Jacket is a lightweight wind layer designed with mountain athletes in mind. It’s designed to stretch without restricting movement and is windproof and breathable. However, you may not want to purchase this Jacket if you’re not a mountain athlete.

Softshell Jacket

The Rab Borealis Softshell Jacket is Rab’s lightest softshell Jacket, making it a perfect climber’s piece. In addition, this Jacket is windproof, has high breathability, and packs small to the point where it won’t impede your movement. But, first, we’ll look at how this Jacket performs.

A softshell jacket is a flexible outer layer of woven polyester or nylon fabric. This fabric provides breathability and durability while maintaining a tailored fit.
