Our pediatricians are committed to providing high-quality healthcare that is compassionate and easily accessible – including convenient locations offering evening and weekend appointments for your convenience.

SYHC Pediatrics offers a distinctive training program for residents to gain clinical experience while serving the community. Run in partnership with Rady Children’s Hospital, this training includes extensive rotations designed to educate residents on caring for medically complex or special-needs children and working closely with all specialty services within SYHC to provide comprehensive care at community clinics throughout Southern San Diego.

We are the leading provider of pediatric primary care in our region. Our doctors are board-certified pediatricians with advanced training to support your child at every developmental stage. Furthermore, many pediatricians are certified in telemedicine to ensure your child always has access to medical advice regardless of where they reside in the county.

Your child can change pediatricians at any time, though their new provider must know his/her medical history and current health condition. To do this, call your health plan’s member services department (the number can usually be found on the back of an insurance card) to update his/her records with their new provider. So your child can start seeing him/her immediately!
