A front-facing camera is an 8-megapixel unit. This camera also comes with an LED flash. The Galaxy M12’s camera doesn’t have the best picture quality, though. The colors look dark, and the detail is lost when enlarged. In addition, the M12’s camera has a wide-angle lens but also introduces distortion. It’s also not the best camera for night shots.
Battery life
Compared to other smartphones in its price range, the Samsung Galaxy M12’s battery life is impressive. This phone comes with a 6,000 mAh battery which is sufficient to keep you going for up to two days on average. However, if you use the phone for heavy work, the battery might be exhausted in as little as a day.
Samsung’s own Exynos 850 SoC powers this smartphone. This chip has eight cores that run up to 2GHz. The processor delivers decent performance, but the device can stutter when running complex apps.
The phone also has a 6.5-inch HD+ display. The screen has a 90Hz refresh rate, which is excellent for smooth scrolling. The smartphone also comes with a fingerprint sensor that unlocks the phone quickly.
One UI Core 3.1 based on Android 11
During the Unpacked Part 2 launch event in October, Samsung unveiled a new build of One UI for Android 12, which will be rolling out to most of its upcoming smartphones. The new form is much more polished than previous releases.
The new One UI features include new customization options, a new Samsung keyboard, emojis, and stickers. There are also improvements to stock apps and a new quick setting toggle for Bedtime Mode. It also brings many other exciting new features to Android 11 devices.
The Galaxy M12 is one of Samsung’s entry-level mobiles and comes with Android 11 as the default operating system. The company is also aiming to release the software update to other markets soon. The update is currently available in Vietnam.
Performance

It runs One UI 3.1 on top of Android 11 and offers a modern camera system, Wi-Fi 4, Bluetooth, and 64GB of built-in storage.

However, the display isn’t as sharp as an AMOLED panel. In addition to this, the backlight doesn’t provide complete black. This means the show isn’t as vibrant as other devices in this price range.
The camera of the Galaxy M12 is decent, and it can capture proper details. However, the camera doesn’t do as well in low light. In addition, it prefers warmer tones.
